Well Done Diana for Completing the Apprentice Program

In this painting, Diana used all the principles she learned in Workshop P. She created this for the Summary Painting.

“Glowing whites, luminescence, atmospheric perspective, rabatment of the rectangle, triadic and complementary optic colour mixing, multicolour brushstrokes in the rocks, and layered washes.

It looked like a big bear in the sky, so went back, and made some blue value adjustments.

I have finished!, what a journey. I have learnt so much. But I’m not going away. Now I will go back and do any assignment I may have missed, and work harder on “colour pairs”.”
