“I have had 4 weeks on the road largely in the Australian alps. Great weather gave many opportunities to paint. We set up camp at this site for 4 days and came in and out on walks. The valley was so deep and narrow that sun on the scene was only 30 min, but 2 sessions and memory made it a great opportunity. Aims: Express light into a dark place, strong compositional shape and defined tonal groupings.”
