I want to share that I sold one of my plein air paintings in the Oregon Lavender Festival Paint out show. This felt so affirming of all the hard work of studying others work, color harmony, composition, itness of Lavender, and returning to the same fields over and over. Thank you Barry for your lessons and all I have learned. This was the last painting I did, a small 6 x 8. It was a joy to paint and my favorite.

Congratulations Susan, this is a great example of how you are applying the VAA lessons in your work. Unequal space division, radiating lines, atmospheric perspective, you really ticked a lot of boxes. Reading these newsletters, make me miss VAA and all of you, all of the best. Love Karin
Congratulations, Susan. Beautiful painting. I can almost smell the lavender!
