When things don’t turn out the way you want them to

As an artist our reward can sometimes be the satisfaction when the result meets our expectations, but when we struggle, when we don’t know anymore which way to follow, how do we keep going?

Here is my way to go through the struggle …. What is yours?

This way I can practice drawing, and also study the way it branches. This will help me the next time I have to paint that type of tree. I don’t have any painting in mind and am not trying to make any finished product. This takes the pressure off and makes painting and drawing fun.
