Sometimes when I am hiking in the mountains I take a small Cotman watercolor sketchbook box with me. I use pen and ink for the drawing on Strathmore paper, then add color. Here are some watercolor sketches I did on a hike in the Roumanian mountains in 2018.

I enjoy painting as a hobby since I retired but I just can’t justify spending money to pursue a dream which should have happened when I was young.
