If you are using an AOL (American Online) email address (something@aol.com, or something at aim.com) you may have problems receiving our emails and other communications. Many times AOL bounces email we send to you back to us and you never receive it at all, not even in your spam folder. This is not a problem with our website but with AOL.

To try and solve this problem, add us to your AOL address book:

1. In your AOL mail, click Addresses at the top of the page.
2. Click the New button, then select New Contact.
3. Add our name (Virtual Art Academy) and email (), then click Save.

Alternatively, if you have a Custom Sender List please add us to it by following these steps:

1. Click the Settings link at the top of the page.
2. Choose Spam Controls from the options at left.
3. Next to Allow mail only from senders on my, click on Custom Sender List.
4. Enter virtualartacademy.com and click Add, then click the green Save button.
5. Click the green Save button.

If you are still having problems

Sometimes this will not solve the problem. Unfortunately AOL refuses to tell us why this happens, so we suggest that you try using another email account other than AOL (we have many times more problems with people using AOL mail than with any other mail system). You can get a free email address from many other places that are much easier to use and that do not lose your emails. We recommend the free email program account from Google, called a gmail account. Then just send us an email from your new account and we will be able to help you.
