To download Adobe Reader
- Click here to download the Acrobat reader software
Note: If this link does not work (because Adobe has moved the file), go to the Adobe home page and look for a button called Get Adobe Reader.
To install Acrobat Reader
After you download Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website, you need to install it. To install Acrobat Reader:
- Find the file you dowloaded. When you downloaded the file, if you did not click on a specific directory, the file will get downloaded to your desktop.
- You can get to your desktop by minimizing or closing all the windows on your computer.
- The file should have a filename looking something like this: AdbeRdr80_DLM_en_US.exe. It should look like a red box with an open lid and a computer window behind it, When you hover your mouse over the desktop icon, it should say: Description: DLM Extractor, Company: Adobe Systems and some other information.
Note: Only double click .exe files if you are sure the company you got it from is a large trusted company like Adobe Systems (www.adobe.com).
- Double click the file and follow the instructions on the screen. This will install the file.
