If you would like an evaluation of one of your paintings or a painting you complete after you have done several assignments, I can give you an online critique. (Critiques are by Barry John Raybould author of the Virtual Art Academy® materials).

This is an example of what you will receive (for each painting):

• realistic painting critique
• abstract painting critique

I will tell you exactly the areas which in my opinion you need to improve your skills (they are identified in the above critiques by italicized text). I will also let you know the specific course unit you need to study in order to correct the problem. In that course unit will be a series of assignments. If you want to improve, then those are the assignments you need to work on for the next six months.

How it works

This is how it works:

1. Please contact us. Tell us you would like to purchase a critique.
2. We will send you a request for payment by PayPal (you can use any credit card). The cost of each painting critique is 35 Euros. Once we have received your payment we will let you know so that you can email your painting to us for review.

3. Take a digital photograph of your painting or your painting assignment and email it to us
4. Barry will review the painting or painting assignment and return comments to you.

Please be aware that Barry's time is very limited and he may not always be able to get the critique back to you right away, for example if he is away on a painting trip. Also sometimes it takes several days to study your painting and develop an understanding of its problems and where you need help.
