Acrylic Painting Techniques

The Virtual Art Academy courses include all the important acrylic painting techniques you need to use acrylic paints. The basic painting technique is very similar to the oil painting technique. The main difference is the need to keep the paint wet while painting. This technical aspect is covered in the Organization series of course units.

Click on one of the acrylic painting techniques below for a brief definition and to find out which Virtual Art Academy course will teach you about that specific acrylic painting technique.
